BGSR 2010 Home Run Derby
A benefit for the American Cancer Society and the family of Colton Tignor.

Date: Sunday, July 18
Time: 5-9 p.m.
Location: BGSR facilties behind old Battle Ground Middle School, 511 Main Street, Battle Ground

- Home run derby for ages 5-adult. Participants divided by age. New for 2010: Adult softball division!
- $10 for 10 pitches; $5 for 10 more!
- Bounce houses, food, ice cream, trophies, and more!

About Colton Tignor:
Colton Tignor is a Battle Ground Summer Recreation player who was diagnosed with a brain tumor (medulloblastoma) in the fall of 2007. Colton has completed all treatments and is cancer free, but the family is still faced with numerous medical bills.

Home Run Derby Details:
$10 for 10 swings,12 pitches max., foul balls/tips included

Home run fences:
Tee Ball- 40'
Pixie- 60'
Pinto-90'
Cadet-100'
Mustang-125'
Juniors-125'
Minors-140'
Bronco-175'
Pony-200'
High school/Adult-250'

Machine pitch with normal pitching distance and speed for each league.
Bronco-40 mph.
Pony-50 mph.
High school/Adult-60 mph.
